Atoka Downtown TIF District #1 Advisory Board

The TIF Advisory Board is established by the City of Atoka to oversee the implementation of tax increment financing (TIF) for the Downtown Atoka Project Plan and Increment District No. 1. The board is tasked with evaluating proposals for TIF assistance, ensuring that projects align with the city’s development goals, and making recommendations regarding the allocation of TIF funds.

The TIF Advisory Board consists of:

• The Mayor (or a designee from the City Council), who serves as chair.
• The Chairman of the City’s Planning Commission (or a designee).
• A public representative appointed by the Mayor who resides within the city limits.
• The ACIDA Director and the City Manager (or designee) serve as ex-officio members.
