The Streets Department is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of city streets and alleyways. They are also responsible for upkeep of parking spaces and city sidewalks. Maintenance of streets involves inspecting, scheduling, and repairing all roadways within the city limits of Atoka.
The Street Department also takes care of public drainage maintenance. Public drainage maintenance includes inspection and cleaning of all city canals, channels, ditches, storm drains, catch basins, curbs, and gutters.
