Refuse Collection

Residential Service

The Atoka Municipal Authority contracts with Allied Waste to provide once weekly trash collection for our residents. All residents are provided with a poly-cart for trash disposal. You may also request up to 2 additional poly carts for a monthly charge by contacting the Utility Billing Clerk.  Trash must be at the curb by 5:00 am on the day of service to ensure pick up. Please help keep our city clean by bagging all trash and closing the lid on your poly cart. After trash has been picked up, please remove your poly-cart from the curb. 

Commercial Services

All commercial accounts are also contracted through Allied Waste. These businesses are provided with 2 poly-carts or a dumpster size of their choosing at an additional rate for trash disposal. You may also request up to 2 additional poly-carts for a monthly charge by contacting the Utility Billing Clerk.  Trash must be at the curb by 5:00 am on the day of service to ensure pick up. Please make sure that there are no vehicles or other obstructions blocking the dumpster. 

AMA provides services to meet your needs such as Roll-off containers. To find out more about these trash services, please contact the Atoka Transfer Station. 

Transfer Station Services

Residents also have the option of taking their refuse to the Transfer Station for a nominal fee.  This facility will not accept or store hazardous wastes, including tires, liquid wastes, untreated medical wastes, radioactive waste, batteries, oil, paint, compressed gas containers, E-wastes.
